Invisible, Inc.
« on: June 28, 2019, 01:25:57 AM »

Hey guys, just checking in!

I found this game today and can already tell it's going to be a favorite. It's like Jagged Alliance or X-com or Sentinals, that sort of thing. Except instead of soldiers you have agents with various capabilities. You'll want to infiltrate and avoid direct combat, while stealing information, tools and weapons, whatever.

This game in its execution is brilliant. The pressure ramps up through the campaign but also in the individual missions. The art is charming and the whole thing is just very well done. I haven't done more than two mission but trust me, I've seen all I need to see to recommend this one!

On sale on Steam for $5. Or bundled with an expansion for $6. An absolute steal if you ask me. :)

It can be a brutal game, but one of the things that I like about it is how deep the campaign customization is. While learning, it may be useful to turn off automatic alarm leveling.

I haven't been this enamored with a new purchase for quite some time.

It looks fun and the price is certainly right. Graphics look good but are maybe a little cartoonish for my tastes. Even so, if I didn't have so much on my plate atm I'd give it a go.

How's the Uncharted Waters thing going? You were playing quite a bit there for a while.

It still takes most of my playing time, I just don't login via steam anymore, the game seems to work better if loaded straight from the Papaya login.

I've been going up to the cabin just about every weekend so far this summer to repair water damage it got from the large amount of snow we got over the winter. My cabin is actually a 32 foot 1984 Mallard camper I bought for $1800 a few years back. It didn't respond well to having almost 4 feet of snow on it ..lol

That's awesome! I'd love to have a place like that.

You own the land it's on?

My brother owns it. He wants to sell me a 50% stake in it tho. I'd have to refinance my house to do it, which I just might do if interest rates go down in august like they're speculating.

Awesome! My family had a 20' trailer back in the day we used to travel the country in. Been 30 years since we had to get rid of it. Miss that!
