Oh yeah, you will!  ;D

I'm having a blast just exploring and building my base. I've still only defeated the first boss so have quite a ways to go. There's only one other friend playing it so far and he's way ahead of me - almost all the way through. Was hoping Tig and a few others would pick it up, but they haven't so far.

I've been playing it a lot the last few weeks, though my internet has been messed up so not going 'online'. Think it will be one of those games I keep going back to, like M&B/Bannerlord. Been playing that the last couple of days to check out the updates they've made over the last couple of months, but will be going back to Valheim soon'ish.

Will try to remember to show online when I do play it, though. Just shoot me a message when you're ready to play it and I'll help you out.

Saw that you picked this up too, Grey. It's a really good game, and getting better as it isn't even finished yet.

The best part is that you can play it co-op. I'll PM you the link to my map and if you see me online feel free to log in.

I haven't been in game as much lately as I was. Got my second vaccine shot and it made me sick last weekend, and have had a bunch of other things to deal with since. If I'm showing in game I'm usually on my server. Been busy exploring and building my main base. :)

That's awesome, Scrog! Congrats!  :)

Still busy trying to get my mom's house fixed up and ready to sell to downsize. After years of talking about it we're finally actually getting things done. My mom hadn't really been for it so was stalling for many years. Just finished the front yard recently, so ready to start the backyard. We still have to go through a lot of stuff that's been collected for many years to get rid of that we won't have room for. Plus between errands, and bad weather (been highs in the upper 90's plus rain), it's tough to do much. Hoping to get things done through the end of the year and maybe get the house on the market by at least early next year.

My mom can't do much, and I don't have the energy I used to, so it's going to take awhile. Keeps me offline more and I haven't been able to play much in the way of games. Can't wait to get into someplace smaller, and hopefully that will let me not have to spend all my time doing yardwork!  :o

Hey Scrog!

Yeah, The Old Republic was the MMO that they finally ended SWG for. GD used to play it along with several others (Dat? can't remember who all), and I tried it for a little bit a few years ago. Think there's a thread somewhere here about that.

I just added it to my Steam account. Not sure if I still have the game installed on my PC from before. Need to check on that and see if I can switch over. I made a couple of characters, but I remember I used Derkam as a name. I probably added the names I used on the other thread, and it also should have what server we were on.

I'm not gaming much lately. Add me, though, and I'll try to log in when I get a chance. It's a game that's fun for awhile solo, but you really need friends once you reach a certain point or it loses it's uniqueness pretty quickly.

Ugh, and my internet has been very slow recently. Might need to get that fixed before I can do much online anyways.

Very cool!  :)

I've got Skyrim on Xbox but not PC. Eventually I'll pick it up, so will definitely look into that when I do! Looks great!

Likewise! Hope you guys are doing well. Such a crazy world out there. Best to hide out at home.

I'm very hit or miss lately. Just like my gaming. lol  Usually check in here once or twice a day, but not much to talk about. Just life keeping me busy, still trying to get this house fixed up.  :)

Three games on Epic for free tomorrow - Killing Floor 2, Lifeless Planet, and The Escapists 2.

I'm really adding a lot to my catalog of games with these. Hopefully someday I'll get around to playing them.  ;D

interesting :)

On the flip side GoG.com has offered up a whole line of Sid's oldies. (and some M&B stuff too)
Nice! I picked up M&B: Bannerlord. It's in early alpha, but still pretty good. Lots of patches and improvements just in the month or so that it's come out. I'd highly recommend it, especially if you can pick it up on a sale.

Every Thursday Epic releases a new game for free. Sometimes more than one. They used to show a week ahead what they'd be, but are keeping them a surprise and giving away bigger name games lately. You just need to sign up with Epic to claim and download them.

Other sites give away games, too, but not every week like Epic has been.

There are some sites that are giving away free games, so figured I'd make a thread to share them in case you guys want to pick any up.

Right now Epic Games has Side Meier's Civilization VI for free from now through May 28th.

Exactly my hope as well.

Oh well. On to other, greener pastures!  :)

Just watched a video about the development of the SWGemu, and the people behind the project say that Jump to Lightspeed pretty much won't happen unless someone with the right skills steps up and is able to make it, and that they are going to launch the 'finished' game without it.

Sucks, as I've been waiting for JTL myself before I play it again. While I enjoyed a lot of things in the game, JTL was by far my favorite and fallback when I didn't have anything else to do. Was hoping they'd come out with it so I could at least play JTL until other games came out. Oh well...

Yeah, I didn't realize until I read a review that said something about it using the M&B engine. Then figured I'd had to try it out.

Cool. I'll have to check that out!

If you ever wanted a game like Mount & Blade but only in a modern setting with modern weapons, this is it. It's basically like a standalone mod using that engine (like Blood & Gold).

It's a large Slavic island that has erupted into a civil war with various factions, and you lead yours to take over the island. You recruit and equip soldiers, take over towns, trade, recruit companions, etc. Most of the same stuff as M&B.

It is made by eastern European developers (Russians? Some other country? Not sure which), so there is a slight bias towards the Russian weapons. Though they have a decent number of various weapons you can choose from. Some bad grammar and spelling, too, but nothing that completely destroys the game.

The game is still in alpha, but gets fairly regular updates and the devs are very active and friendly. I've had to pause my playing it a couple of times to wait for a new patch, but it doesn't take long.

Highly recommend this. Worth the regular price, and a steal if you get it on sale.

Awesome! My family had a 20' trailer back in the day we used to travel the country in. Been 30 years since we had to get rid of it. Miss that!
